I picked one for Peter that showcases his particular brand of heroism (and of course foreshadows/reverses later events).

As another person pointed out below, the fic is made somehow more...poignant, for me, by the fact that I know it's not an AU, the fact that we've seen what these kids grow up to be. I have no idea how it's going to work out, though. :)

I really, really want Peter-Hiro scenes in Season 2, now. :D
