Returning to Munich, I find the most delightful crossover posted. [livejournal.com profile] yahtzee63 had the brilliant idea of tackling Gone With The Wind/Dr. Who AND PULLED IT OFF. I'm awed. I also think her take on Scarlett O'Hara is ever so much better and matching the original than any of the published sequels, prequels and whatnots. What's more, she doesn't prettify Scarlett's 19th century attitudes. Her take on Martha and the Doctor is excellent, too, but as this is written in Scarlett's pov, I would really dare Gone With The Wind readers who aren't familiar with Dr. Who, like [livejournal.com profile] artaxastra, to read it, because Scarlett doesn't know any more about DW than they do, and finds out all they need to know to get the story. And as I said, this is ever so much better than the mediocre stuff calling itself Rhett Butler's People or Scarlett. Go, read, admire:

Oh, I so have to bookmark this for later reading. Gone with the Wind is one my favourite movies ever, and the idea of a crossover with Doctor Who sounds like complete crack, but oddly intriguing. Thank you for the recommendation!
