Transamerica was in fact, exactly what I was thinking of when I saw it. "Well, if Felicity Huffman can do it..."
The Bellino stuff made me love that movie. Not that I would, but fanfiction where the two of them had a happy ending, or Bellino turned out to really be a castrato, etc, might be a lot of fun. Maybe for Yuletide.
