Wellllll, I'm not 100% sure whether it's the best of all the many - if nothing else, I have to put a word in for her singing in The Blue Angel, especially as it came before Sternberg completely remodelled her into Dietrich the icon, and it's vibrant and vulgar rather than elegant and elusive - but it's definitely up there.

What I also love to bits: her first scene, when Johnny comes in and she's brushing her teeth. The relaxed playfulness there.
