1.) The West Wing: that post-show lengthy story in which Toby is incensed about being pardonned and drives up to New Hampshire to have it owed with the (former) President, gets snowed in chez Bartlet, and then they really are forced to hash out just about everything. The reason why I can't write this is that a) I'd have to do a lot of research for which I just don't have the time, b) Sorkin dialogue intimidates me, even more so when my prospective main characters are the two smartest guys on the show, and c) I hate it when other people ignore or write out other characters, yet I have no idea what I would do with Abby, who'd be there, and the idea of not doing right by her hinders me as well.
2.) Doctor Who: Jo Grant during the Year That Wasn't, culminating in her getting on board the Valiant and meeting both the Master and the Doctor again. I don't need to write this because I dumped this plot bunny on
futuresoon and still hope she'll finish her take on it, plus I used the description of the immediate encounter for my Jo and the Doctor story "Surprises", but there's another reason, too, why I couldn't bring myself to write it. On the one hand, I think Jo might be the one ex companion who'd have a shot at not getting killed at once, on the other, Simm!Master is unbalanced enough that he'll do something unpleasant to her eventually, and I don't want to write it.
3.) Battlestar Galactica/ Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Head!Six and Head!Baltar, meet Sisko and the Prophets. This one I gave as a prompt at the Multiverse and live in hope someone else will write the story for me. More to the point, were I to writet it I'd need a plot and something more to say than just borrow Fred's The Powers That Screw You quote from Angel.
4.) Torchwood: the one where Owen ends up as a ghost and he and Jack are stuck with each other, all the way till Face of Boe time. I might actually get around to writing this at some point, but it would need lots of rewatching of relevant episodes.
5.) Angel: Connor, post-Not Fade Away, meets Justine again, and they end up on a road trip together. This is an old plot bunny resulting from one of my favourite roleplays back when I was active at
theatrical_muse. One of my stumbling blocks - besides being by now out of touch with my Jossverse voices - is that some of the reasons why Connor originally joins Justine on that trip in the rp can't apply in a canonverse story. (By canon I mean on screen canon only.) But every now and then, I return to the idea and wonder whether I could figure out some ways around this while maintaining some of the pretty intense senes the rp resulted in.
