There's a discussion going on on the LJ doctorwho community, and the only other reference to non-straight sexuality anyone could remember was a remark about whether two-headed aliens should be allowed to marry themselves. Which just shows how bad things have got that people have been reduced to claiming bizarre alien biology as a metaphor for gayness.
