I don't blame you. *not a fan of the s6 finale* Though this episode at least picks up on the continuity of the Doctor back then deciding to erase the records of himself, and apparantly that's still semi-working. If the Emperor and his running away and hide, then returning after stopping the Cybermen by blowing up a planet is foreshadowing, I wonder whether the finale, leading up to the the 50th anniversary special, and with the name theme, will be about the Doctor reclaiming his identity? (Though of course running and hiding is a part of his identity, and anyway Moffat wanted to get him less famous and back to the accidental traveller not heard of by most people.)
