Multiverse!

I'm such a happy multifandom camper. The Multiverse 2004 stories are up, and I'm making ridiculous noises quite often while reading them. Especially the Farscape and Firefly ones (crossoved with each other or other 'verses, and my, the DS9/Firefly one is scary), and then there is the one I requested, which is Scorpius/Seven of Nine and pulled off in such an elegant and believable way, and...

To sound a little less fangirlish: those crossover standards we talked about? Beautifullly kept, both in the romantic and in the ampersand crossovers. Go. Read. Give feedback. (Oh, and since we're all anonymous authors for a week, I'm of course immensely curious whether anyone can guess my two contributions. Does one have a distinguishable style in fanfic?) (I can guess who wrote my request, but then I got the idea for the pairing when reading this person's lj, and she DOES have a distinctive voice.)

Yes, one does *g*. I've spotted one of them through logical deduction, style recognition and your author's note which totally gave you away. I'm short of time today so I haven't found the other one yet, but I will *g*.

You beta'd the second one, so that doesn't count. And yes, that author's note is probably sort of revealing.*g* Feel free to give feedback at the website nonetheless....

Lovely Amanda icon!

LOL. I thought that one was last month. I'm easily confused...

Will do. Probably tomorrow now as Aged Ps about to arrive.

Lovely Amanda icon!

Thanks. She icons very nicely. Duncan pouts, Methos lurks in the shadows but Amanda poses prettily.

I just read the story that was written for me, and damn, it's good! Now I feel bad because the story I provided isn't anywhere near that well done...

I haven't checked out any of the other stories yet, but I guess I really should start watching Farscape and Firefly one of these days, those seem to be the universes that have been used the most.

Farscape and Firefly are both immensely watchable. I can provide you with some Farscape when you visit!

I've seen a couple of Farscape episodes a while ago (or rather, parts of them), and didn't really like the show, especially those weird looking aliens and the male lead (John Chrichton, I think) turned me off. Maybe they'll be better in English with a fan by my side, though, so I might take you up on that offer :)

I first had the misfortune of catching some of the weaker season 2 episodes, but thankfully I a) stuck with it and b) saw the original version, because I can tell you the dubbing is rather bad. Especially in the case of John Crichton.

Also: just as, when you take to B5, you don't think the Centauri with their hair and the Minbari with their bones are odd once the show has caught on with you, with Farscape, you don't think "muppets", you think "Pilot and Rygel". And to quote another fan, those muppets will make you cry (in the good sense).
