One Sentence Meme: The Americans

selenakBecause I do that occasionally when finding a new fandom. Also I'm trying to get my muse back, and one sentence fics are one way to dabble in fanfiction again.
Try to write different categories of fic (angst, fluff, UST, etc) in one sentence.
Spoiler: for the first two seasons.

Angst
It wasn’t that he had forgotten how to be Mischa; it was that being Mischa now required the same effort being Philip did, or Clark, or any of them, and the person staring at him in the mirror had no name at all.
AU
Her parents would never understand what it meant to work for a higher cause, Paige thought, and hurried to be on time for her meeting with Kate, the KGB handler who’d recruited her.
Crackfic
”I really don’t think kidnapping George Lucas will benefit the motherland”, Philip protested after Elizabeth had told him about the Centre’s latest plan to get the key to Star Wars.
Crossover (The Americans/Alias)
Nadeshda had envied Irina Derevko for being trusted enough to become an Illegal on her own, without a partner; Elizabeth Jennings pities Laura Bristow for the same reason.
Death
The deaths she is dealing out, Elizabeth can handle; those she can’t prevent, however, like Gregory’s or Lucia’s, are strangling her dreams.

First Time
They’d both been through KGB instructors, a lot of marks and lovers; the awkwardness they both showed the first time they had sex together was nothing but unprofessional, Elizabeth knew, but found it oddly relaxing and new in its lack of the need to impress.
Fluff
Goading Mom and Dad into a snowball fight was always easy, but the one time that Dad persuaded Mom to make a snowman out of the remains of the fight was one of Henry’s favourite memories.
Humor
Granted, they both resented her and wished her dead, but Claudia still preferred her Washington charges to the one she’d had to deal with in Germany; if she’d had to listen to young Vladimir Putin ranting about homosexuals being everywhere one more time, she’d have ruined her flawless track record as a handler by strangling him.
H/C
They hand out bits and pieces of themselves during assignments; what happens at home is their mutual attempt to reassemble each other into something almost whole.
Smut
It’s the taste of her he recognizes, always, knowing her name before remembering his own.
UST
Until Martha, Elizabeth had never bothered to imagine Philip with one of his marks; now, she couldn’t stop.
