*stares* But not combining Sallust & at least one of the Cicero speeches makes no sense! Now granted, when we did Caesar and De Bello Gallico ("Gallia est divisa in partes tres"), we didn't also do Cicero's letters to his brother or something like that, but our teacher did establish context for how Caesar had gotten command in Gaul in the first place, pointed out that this was an important stepping stone to the Roman Civil War later, and also drew the Asterix connection. :)
