So all you lucky folks not living in Germany and/or elsewhere in Europe, as opposed to yours truly, can watch the Big Damn Movie. See if I care. That's me in green, over there.

In lieu of new canon, I console myself with fanfiction. "Mr. Niska and the Ancient Art of Marriage Counselling" is a fabulous, long, plotty Firefly fanfic by roseveare, focusing on Mal and my favourite con artist in the Firefly universe, Saffron. (I also got to see a revue in Berlin at the Friedrichstadtpalast, Casanova, which didn't have to hide next to the ones I saw in Paris.)

Which reminds me: thanks to all the birthday wishes, everyone! My favourite fannish present was from andrastewhite who let me watch the draft of her big Babylon 5 vid. RL wise, I got a beautiful new watch and a book that's lying suggestively on my table while I try to catch up with my flist, my roleplaying over at theatrical_muse, and everyone's fanfiction and meta.

I'm still hoping that CINEMA will release "Serenity" a bit sooner. I saw that recently they had a Firefly-night showing all the episodes and 40 minutes from the movie.

As a consolation I allow a hint on very good movie and the novel by Sergei Lukyanenko, "Night Watch". I heard, it started to be shown in Germany.
Well, novel is better movie (as often happens).
