As RL continues to stress, just a quick note of gratitude: kathyh gave me the second season of Spooks and kangeiko gave me a year of lj journal and pretty pictures! (Like the one I newly uploaded.) Thank you, dearest. This inspired me to get working on my Spy Santa assignment again, but alas, constant interruptions to not help. At least I don't have to deliver on the 24th, phew, but have time until the 6th of January.

Also, laurashapiro has made the most magnicent Farscape vid, but I guess the 'Scapers on my list already knew that.

My favorite character doesn't show up until season 3, but the season 1/2 ensemble is wonderful in its own right.

You can check out my thoughts on Spooks season 1 in the January 2005 entries, as kathyh gave the first season to me last Christmas. So far, I only managed two eps of the second for RL reasons, but had my general affection for the show reconfirmed and loved the second one to bits.

Thoughts on season 1 found and enjoyed *g*.

The ASH episode is my favorite because it's so ridiculously slashy naked notGiles quotes Coriolanus I'm a sucker for double-agent stories. (Yes, that last one is the reason). But the quality of the show hasn't slacked at all over subsequent seasons, and the writers and actors do a great job of incorporating, let's say, both intrinsic and extrinsic events.
