"Evidence of Things Unseen" by

yahtzee63 has Nadia, Sloane, Jack's cat and Jack, although... but that would be telling. Let's just say it's heartbreaking in the best way. Some season 5 spoilers.

"Marshall's World" by

laet_v is set mid-season 4 and a wonderful take on the daily endearing chaos that is Marshall Flinkman's life.

More Marshall and Marshall's pov on things, this time from season 5, to be had in "Another Day at the Office", by iseult_variante. The Marshall-Sloane interaction especially is wonderful.

"Dinner between three, discussion between four" by

wottie was the story I got as a present, featuring the Sloanes, Arvin and Emily, interacting with Irina during her Laura Bristow phase. Great double talk between Irina and Sloane about Jack.

"Bound" by

kangeiko also deals with the Arvin-Jack-Irina triangle, through the ages, and I love the story to bits. It manages to render all three in their complexity, without simplifying either them or their relationships with each other. No spoilers beyond early season 3.

Lastly, "Tango" by

violaswamp takes on two of the season 5 newbies, Peyton (for Jossverse fans - the one played by Amy Acker) and Rachel, and makes them as vivid to me as the characters I've followed the previous four seasons. Kudos!

All in all, not just the Alias watcher but the Sloane fan in me had a really good week, reading these stories (and my own endeavour didn't do too badly in terms of audience reception, either *g*), so I was inspired to face the

fandom_muses challenge and put together a soundtrack of Sloane's life.
