DS9 drabble and AtS fanfic

andrastewhite has now reached the end of season 5 in her DS9 watching, and as we discussed the episodes, specifically Odo's actions in Children of Time, the following drabble occured to me:

Months ago, bimo made a nice icon for me, and I promised her a conversation between Wesley and Lorne in return, once I got my hands on season 4, as she wanted a season 4 or season 5 pre-Smile Time time frame. With the usual perversity of my muses I finally had an idea when rewatching season 4, but not for the time frame she wanted. I hope she'll accept it nonetheless. It's still unbeta'd.

Timeline: Post-Origin, pre-Time Bomb, season 5.

Working Title: Last One Before Closing.
