Star Wars links, and short Alias squee
Jun. 7th, 2005 03:25 pmWhile trying vainly to catch up with everything that has been going on lj wise in my absence, I noticed the delightful fact more SW fanfic got written. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bloodraven77 is busy with a series of Vader drabbles. Butterfly wrote lots of posts on the movie and then moved on to fanfic, creating
a great Anakin & Obi-Wan friendship one, set between AotC and RotS, and then a heartbreaking Obi-Wan in transition to being "Ben" exploration.
penknife, she of the great X-Men fanfic, wrote "Circle", a fascinating take on the emotional mess that is Anakin Skywalker throughout the prequels. On a (somewhat) lighter note, "The Last Days of Endless Summer" tackles Anakin and Obi-Wan in earlier days. "Key To Something" is Vader/Padme (yes, you read that right), elegant darkfic with just a slight note of hope (for Padme). "My Own Last Breath" captures those first five minutes of Vader existence.
Meanwhile, I finally got to see the Alias finale, and naturally, it gave me plot bunnies. In addition to the many already plagueing me. Curse your sinister attraction, men with the intials A.S.! (And your daughters. For there must be Nadia fic.) (And your not-daughters-whom-you-have-a-fascinating-relationship-with-which-just-took-another-twist.)
