...it is this one. I'm not kidding. I watched it on tv perhaps a dozen times before it was restored to full length and hit the cinemas again back in the 90s, and now I have the dvd. But if this release in the cinema to celebrate the 50th anniversary for just one day is an international thing and doesn't only apply for the states, I'll so be there in October as well. Because the cinematography is that gorgeous, the acting is that good, and David Lean was a god among directors for that movie alone. (He did some pretty nifty ones otherwise as well. :)
