Darmstadt (this day's place of residence, till tomorrow) has confined me to being an analog girl again, and I am so spoiled. Slow, slow, slow connection.

Anyway - maybe this is good for me. Because this morning, when still cruising among the wifi-blessed, I fell into lots of evil wiles. [livejournal.com profile] iamsab, for example, dared me to write Londo (B5)/Anya (BTVS). Which plainly has to be. Then [livejournal.com profile] karabair suggests theological debates between Six (BSG) and Holtz (AtS) which simply also have to be. When I get back to Munich this weekend, I might find my very own region 2 DVDs of American Gothic, which undoubtedly will contribute to pondering over [livejournal.com profile] londonkds' Connor-meets-Caleb (TEMPLE, not the Nathan Fillion played one) idea. And I signed up for the Multiverse 2006. It's a conspiracy, I tell you!

Oh, and there is [livejournal.com profile] kangeiko's brilliant SFU/AtS crossover plot bunny which I might finally get round to now...

I really can't decide whether I would rather see Holtz converse with Six or with Harmony. . .choices, choices. (Not, umm, that you should write these. Just what I'd like to imagine). I've never seen American Gothic and almost bought the DVDs recently, but I keep hearing horrible things about how they were poorly made at some since-condemned factory in Bolivia and don't play. Or something like that. Better luck with yours!

Darmstadt!! Ahem. Sorry, random comment. I lived on one of the nearby US military base housing areas (Lincoln Village, near Cambrai Fritsch Kaserne) for a couple of years, so I get randomly exciting hearing the town mentioned. Usually not the first city mentioned in relation to Germany.

No, but if you're German and travelling throughout the country on a professional basis, you end up there once in a while.*g*

My hometown had and still has an American garnison, too - Bamberg.
