theatrical_muse entry much on my mind. Meanwhile, fanfic recs:

Heroes:
Distrait: . This is the most convincing Nathan pov set between seasons and during the first two episodes in s2 yet, to me, precisely because it's so taut, and doesn't avoid the ambiguity of emotions and character both. Kudos!
