Real life busyness makes for short entries, so, just a couple of links from different fandoms:
Lost:
Rosetta: Penny Widmore meets Benjamin Linus. Conversation about fathers and daughters ensues. To say more would mean keeping you from this great character study, so go, read!
Torchwood:
Shining nowhere but in the dark: Sandman/Torchwood crossover and coda to the s2 finale. Focuses on the obvious suspects plus Jack.
Doctor Who:
Some great observations about Donna in The Runaway Bride, refuting certain statements made in the wake of Partners in Crime.

However, since I'm not sure you were already reading my ramblings back then, might I point to my essay about how RB foreshadows the entire third season, here (http://selenak.livejournal.com/306859.html)?

I've read your ramblings, as I always find your meta interesting and thought-provoking, and you definitely have a point that it foreshadows the themes of Season 3. My problem with Bride is certainly not structural. I think partly I found it mean-spirited, and partly I was just cranky about the end of Season 2 in general. (Not a Dalek or Cybermen fan, me, so the finale wasn't exactly a joy.)
