This just in: Torchwood/Doctor Who rec!

This seems to be my day for spamming, but I just have to reccomend this story. One unexpected delight of Martha's three episode stint on Torchwood, season 2, was the unlikely friendship that developed between her and Owen. It's not unreasonable to suppose they remained in contact until Exit Wounds. This story consists of a series of phone conversations between them, starting shortly after A Day in the Death, and both Owen's and Martha's voices are rendered with sparkling vivacity. Extra bonus points for the use of Martha's fiance, Tom Milligan, and for the absolutely priceless conversation between Owen and the Doctor that takes place around the Poison Sky time on DW.
