Travelling to Bali from Germany via air plane takes nearly 24 hours, all in all, drives to and from airports included. We arrived nearly at midnight at the hotel, after having left Frankfurt at 10 pm. Glorious weather, will report anon. On the air plane, the in flight entertainment offered among other things the first two episodes from Ashes to Ashes, so I did watch after all and found to my surprise that I liked them far more than I had expected.
In other news: am still in the minority opinion re: DW season finale, I bet. Also, what she said re: a certain action near the end. Seriously.

It broke my heart that she lost her memories but it was better than if he'd let her die. Which she didn't want -- she didn't want to die, she just didn't want to forget, either. She wanted to stay as she was and live like that, which was impossible. He chose the better of the two options.

Oh, and thanks to your e-mail, I now have flights and additional accommodation, as I'll be arriving in S. a day earlier than you do.

Er, spoilers for the DW Season 4 finale, just to be careful

Let's just say the variety of reactions seems broad and plentiful. They definitely all are very emotional, one way or the other.
Also, what she said re: a certain action near the end. Seriously.
Sigh. I really wish there was the possibility of talking of situations involving dubious consent that are not related to sexual assault without using the r-word. I mean, as I said before, I don't love this kind of plot/reset button, but I really don't think the text tells us Donna wanted to have her timelord brain leaking out of her ears. And I don't think anyone can really honestly entertain the possibility that Ten would have just stepped back and let her die. Horribly, as I might add.
