monimala wrote a very atmospheric short Heroes AU in which the characters lived in the 1930s world of Carnivale (or just in the carnival world, you don't have to take it as a crossover), being fairground attractions. Now she has developed the idea further and written a great and lengthy tale which basically puts the first season in this AU. Immensely compelling, and wonderful to read.

Last year I think I wore red for the end of the world: not quite everyone showed up for the final two episodes of DW, season 4. Hence fanfic, and here is a look as to what Lucy Saxon was doing during Journey's End. A great look at Lucy, her disturbed, disturbing mind, her past and present.
