Cheery links
Sep. 15th, 2008 09:18 pmAnother very exhausting day, which means my brain won't produce either the long post I've been meaning to write or intelligent feedback beyond "yay, you", which is why you get links that made my Monday cheerier. (A smile on Monday is just what one needs.) Both links are Whovian in nature:
You can't always get what you want... : I swear, one only has to say "I don't read them, except this one" and promptly more which fit the criteria will arrive. Absolutely hilarious Blue!Ten story, in which he meets the Master. Manages to be true to the whole Doctor and Master conundrum with a sense of humour and without angst, which is pure artistry. I loved it.
Paul Cornell, he who writes fabulous episodes and good comics, posted an absolutely adorable picture of fan-made Donna and Ten puppets at his blog. And suddenly I wish RTD had carried his Joss Whedon fanboying to the extreme of creating a Doctor Who version of Smile Time. Because Puppet! Doctor and Puppet!Donna were meant to be!
(If someone writes the fanfic, crossover with Angel or not, they will have my eternal gratitude.

Proof if proof was needed that years of Buffying can make you a little on the crazy side.
Given the reaction to Cornell's blog yesterday and the comments on my fic, I reckon that the Beeb needs to get on board with marketing those puppies.

Date: 2008-09-17 08:40 am (UTC)Puppet!Sylar vs. Puppet!Petrellis, for instance? The pent up rage versus emo morality would be cracktastic.
I think the wait for new Heroes is rotting my brain.
