I'm actually here to work, but every now and then I take a stroll, and see things like this:

If you're wondering, that's the Tegernsee. About an hour away from Munich.

Re: Eleven, what this post says, so you won't hear it from me. Fandom: predictable as hell. On the other hand, I'm surprised, amused and enthralled by some of the suggestions to yesterday's question and am considering making a poll.

Oh, pretty! Those trees laden with snow are gorgeous as is the lake. Many thanks for sharing.

Fandom: predictable as hell.

How very true *g*.

You're welcome, and hey, great Buffy-in-winter icon!

Since you're a fan of the first hour, you must have witnessed this, oh, ten times now...

That was my thought on Matt, too -- I mean, give the guy a CHANCE!

Quite. But hey, it's traditional and seems to have happened Every. Single. Time. since William Hartnell regenerated into Patrick Troughton. Here (http://calapine.livejournal.com/372397.html)
's a very entertaining post on what DW fandom would have been like if the internet had been around from the 60s onwards.

Ohhhh, snow AND mountains.. Very pretty.

And we're going to have a whole year of this wank till Smith is actually seen on screen. Nobody seemed happy with either CE or DT when they were announced. Why buck tradition...

Wow, that's pretty! Am quite jealous; here it's just cold and my feet have turned purple.

re: Eleven, well said. It does make me realise that as 2 years older than Matt Smith, I have not achieved much with my life so far- I am unable to say without absolute certainty, for example, that come April 2010, you will be able to find my face on a cake.

Where do you live that it's snowless?

Maryland, about 30 miles from DC. We get snow, but mostly it's either a dusting, or ice storms. Bleh. About every 5 or so years we get REAL snow, and then everyone freaks out because they have no clue how to deal with it :D

Pretty indeed! Why is it that you guys get snow while all we get is slush?

"Nah, that's what I did when I was... well, a while ago."

Truly, the most beautiful place I have ever been is the Bavarian bit of the Alps. Yes, Neuschwanstein is wholly ridiculous, but if you're going to build a ridiculous castle, that's where you do it!

Whenever you post these, it makes me want to travel the world, so I can see these places myself ... and take my own photos.

Thanks for sharing!
