andrastewhite heightened the moral pressure, I have given in. The Ambassador has his own journal. Now I only need someone to make me a decent Londo icon. Currently confined to my Aged Parents’ computer, I can’t do it myself, I’m afraid.
Aside from Londo chattage, a bit of surfing told me that there is some great new fanfic out there;artaxastra wrote a wonderful X-Men story about young Jean Grey meeting and getting trained by Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, the future Magneto. Speaking of girls and their father figures, this take on Eowyn and Theoden fits terrifically with their relationship as interpreted by the movies (and with the book, too). You know, the exorcism on Theoden used to be my one complaint about TTT, but even that is now redeemed because it sets up the repeat of “I know your face – Eowyn” so beautifully in RotK.
I recallkathyh telling me after TTT she thought that Aragorn learned through his interactions with Theoden what it really means to be a king. This story makes a case for it as well.
EDITED to add: am now in possession of one Londo icon. However, it wouldn't be Londo if he only took one, right?
