I had to think about it a while. The thread on your LJ was instructive. Honestly, if I met him I probably wouldn't ask anything other than maybe a blessing on a bracelet or something.

It wasn't clear whether it would just be attending a speech plus short introduction or an actual meeting, but someone in the media wanted to surprise me with an early birthday present, as it were. :)

I'd ask him whether he's aware of the damage he does every time he makes public statements about how homosexuality, certain sexual acts (e.g. oral sex) and so on are evil.
