Date: 2004-04-13 02:44 pm (UTC)You know I'm not sure the parallel wasn't unintended by the writers. They can't surely have been unaware that the parallel could be drawn. The Maquis storyline always felt so nebulous to me that I wonder if they intended to go a little further with it and then decided it was too risky.
