1. Had lovely days in the Serengeti, except for 70 bits of TseTse flies suffered by Aged Parent; were assured of none-deadliness by guide. No bites for self.

2. Animals as gorgeous and plenty as ever in the Seronara.

3. Wrote Sandman/Babylon 5 fanfic in diary in between, since as opposed to certain other people who shall remain nameless, have muse with conscience and FEELING. Will transcribe and post when back in Germany.

4. Arrived at the Ngorongoro Crater this afternoon. Risked expensive hotel computer to discover [livejournal.com profile] hobsonphile is a darling and wrote a great Vir entry, and people who shall remain nameless continue with Drakh-like cruelty.

Hey, you're back. And you weren't eaten by lions. Sounds like you had a ball.

Not back. Won't be until the 17th. I've just found a computer that works at the Ngorngoro crater.

Glad you're having fun! I demand pictures, for those of us unlikely to be leaving this continent any time in the next decade...

Pictures will follow once I'm back AND in a situation where I can download them from the Aged P's camera.

Some people who shall remain me are working on their entries right now, being inspired after reading a rash of B5 fic while gearing up for this month's [livejournal.com profile] crack_van.

I hath not forsaken you, and in case you were wondering, I miss you like crazy. If you can get your African ass to a computer later today or tomorrow, there's a Narn who's got a lot to say to you.

I miss you like crazy, too, all the more so after reading G'Kar's entry. Thank you. I knew nagging would bring success.*g*

Computer power, an expensive once a day, is with me still today and tomorrow, but after that I don't know - will have to see how things are on Mauritius (next destination after the school + Joe.

Back to reading G'Kar's message again -

Send my sympathies to your Aged Parent. Everywhere mosquitoes gather they exchange news about how deliciously tasty I am. And if mosquito bites are bad, I should thing TseTse fly bites are worse!

I'm in awe of your ability to find computers. I'm sure there must be some in the Highlands of Scotland but I never found them, yet you can find one in the middle of Africa! Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Wrote Sandman/Babylon 5 fanfic in diary.

Woohoo! Desire, or did one of the others win?

In case you missed my stunned lj entries of the past few days, my Londo/G'Kar story is now done in draft form. I've begun editing and expanding, and it's now at 9,275 words long.

All of them won, my dear, and it's all thanks to you. A segment for each of the Endless. Can't wait to find out what you think of it, but can't type it when 20 minutes cost me 10 dollars.

Also: wow. Am awed. And looking forward like crazy to reading it.
