Okay, I hope I mastered the art of the photobucket upload correctly. There are more to come, but here is the first part:

River with marabouts in the Western Corridor

Here they are - the wildebeests!

And their more attractive sidekicks during the migration:

Crossing the river:

Elephants. Why yes, they can be cute as well as majestic.

But this is the elusive star of every safari, even more so than lions:

Crater from above, in the evening. And Selena.

Wow! Those are lovely. The picture of the zebras is completely amazing, and I love the little elephant. Thanks.

That landscape looks simply endless! So beautiful... (and I totally would've missed the baby elephant without that comment above me ;))

Now if only I could get over my fear of the smaller animals of Africa, I would actually like to see that in real life one day! :)

But that wasn't the baby - that was the somewhat older one.*g* The baby, alas, only got filmed not photographed.

Smaller animals? Like those nasty flies?

Oh, it wasn't? Still cute, though *g*

Smaller animals? Like those nasty flies?

Flies, mosquitos, bugs, those nasty things that like to live in African lakes and plant their eggs under your skin if you dare to swim there - you name it, I hate it ;) Not to mention all the poisonous critters *shudders* I'm somewhat... paranoid... when it comes to that kind of thing ;)

:-)

Of course, if I saw a rhino up close, I'd be thinking, "Oh god, I hope it doesn't charge me...." :-)

I am hopelessly in love with your trip as a result of these pictures. It's now on my to-do list "go on an African photo safari." Which park is this taken in?

All but the rhino and the picture of yours truly were made in the Serengeti, which is the largest conservation area in the world, to be found in Tanzania. The Rhino is from the Ngorongoro Crater, at the edge of which I'm standing in the photo. More pictures tomorrow.

I'm flabbergasted what tiny digital cameras can do myself. And yes, I enjoyed the trip very much!

I'm sorry, but I shall be compelled to leave for two weeks soon, so... Be in a hurry to make something pleasant to all most malicious friends (to intimate enemies?)
Here my gift for you, Selena... "For Adira! For Centauri Prime! For Kosh!!!" (http://bureau13.narod.ru/kan14.jpg)
Its not mine, again, is a picture of my friend technomage Kan. My pictures I somehow shall send to you by mail... :-)))

Oh, perfect! Thank you! I'll probably let Londo mention this in his idea of the perfect day...

I'll miss you, and t_m Na'Toth. Speaking of whom, before you leave, can she quickly post an entry to explain she was the one who freed Londo?

You know, it is very amusing, but Na'Toth really may rescue Londo...
I shall write about it, necessarily I shall write... You see, it will be connected to rescue of Damar... It long story...
Maybe, Mollari and C* is necessary to suffer in ignorance about two weeks... And then you find out how he could be rescued... If he has lost memory, I think, it will be restored not at once...
It will start with simply chronologically RP...Meanwhile process goes... It is connected also to tricks in time and space... ;-))
If all will develop successfully, I shall have time to write it before my departure...
