As andraste wrote, it's as if this was created for us.:) (And everyone else fond of characters with some life experience behind them!) Only the prompt leaving closes at the 5th, so I had to hurry between conference arguments:




Over 40 Fest - Celebrating characters that don't get nearly enough love in fandom and original fiction.


We are a brand new Multi-fandom, Multi-media Fest with our very first round of prompting opening Sunday, April 28th after which anyone who wishes to celebrate with us will have a whole month to make fic, art, mixes, icons, gifs and podfic that feature characters over 40 as the main character. We're open to all fandoms, including original fiction and RPF and we are open to all who wish to participate. Any genre and rating is acceptable - our goal is to increase the number of fanworks and visibility of characters that are often overlooked,

Ooo, thank you for pointing this out! Does signing up mean you *have* to fill a prompt, or can you just leave prompts and decide later whether or not any of the other ones speak to you?

Love the prompts you left, by the way. The Londo & Delenn one is perfect, of course (and I would totally write it myself if I wasn't still over my head into That Other B5 Story - that said, I really hope someone else fills it for you! *bounces*) and oh, Ben/Locke! That made me all nostalgic. :)

I don't know anymore than you do, but from reading the announcement, one can give prompts without writing something. I think.:)
