It's too damn hot to do anything sensible or remotely productive. (Oddly enough I didn't feel that way in the Gobi desert.) I've despaired of reading everything fannish that has accumulated during my absence.

However, my day is definitely brightened, courtesy of lonelywalker, by two Xaviers and two Magnetos bantering with each other. Whether or not X-Men: Days of Future Past, the movie, will be any good, nobody knows yet, but with this cast it's bound to generate a lot of crossgenerational fanfiction. :)

Also: I haven't been doing a proper rewatch with weekly discussions since Babylon 5 a couple of years ago, so doing it for Once Upon A Time is great fun.

I thought of you this weekend as I finished packing the house -- I found a copy of a newsletter I used to edit for an Elizabethan recreation group. For various reasons, for that issue I did all bad Hollywood Tudor costuming as illustrations. For the cover, I photoshopped Londo's head onto a portrait of the Earl of Essex in tourney armor. What was funny was how natural it looked. I'll have to take a picture and post it.
