I read about those pulp covers a while ago, but haven't encountered one in real life yet.

Simply hilarious, especially the subheadings. "Lock up your daughters. Darcy's in town"... *snorts*

Actually, these are new editions, but I think a spoof of the 50s was what they were going for. :) Of course, it set me wondering what also you could do:
