Aug. 18th, 2014 02:41 pmLiving near the alps has its benefits. As I have to leave the area again and head for my annual longer stay in Bamberg with the APs, I have to share some photos from the past few weeks from the Tegernsee and its people:

The lake itself is incredibly pretty.

Even when the sun isn't shining like that. The Waldfest ("forest party"), for example, took place in mixed, cloudy weather, but the folk dancing went on without reservations. Even the smallest kids enjoyed the hell out of it:




Then there were the seniors:


But the absolute highlight was this group:


And I'm so proud I managed to catch the moment where the men all had their legs in the air:

Back to nature. The rising supermoon last weekend was glorious to observe on the shores of a lake in the alps:
