Super Blood Moon!

Unfortunately, the early morning sky in Bamberg was really cloudy, but every now and then, there was a free spot, and this is what I managed:

Very ominous and cool! It wasn't visible at all here in Australia, so I am pleased to see everyone else enjoying it!

I went up to one of our seven hills (we do have seven, hence "Franconian Rome") to have a good pov, and because of the clouds, there were only a few others, but those of us who braved the cold and the clouds were rewarded. :)

Here it was clear all the first half and for the full eclipse, only after there was a little high fog or something obscuring it some. So I had a good view, as far as light pollution allowed that is, because I never left my bedroom. I found it very cool how the moon looked so 3D as it was covered fully.

I'm envious. Here it was never clear at all, and I really had to use every bit of free space between clouds!

It was like that with the last solar eclipse here. I only noticed that because it got even darker than it already was with the cloud cover.

Thank you! It was very cloudy where I was and the blood effect wasn't visible.

The clouds only parted a few times in my part of the world as well, and I had to watch the entire one and a half hour to catch this, but when they did....!
