State of the download-by-friends-dependent Farscape fan: identifying with Tantalus. And I haven't even committed infanticide. Anyway, judging by the universal squeeing I take it true goodness is coming my way… one day. And btw, thanks everyone for being really good and discreet with their lj cuts. I'm still unspoiled!

Anyway, since [livejournal.com profile] kernezelda posted a very entertaining Farscape-characters-as-LotR characters list here, I feel justified in using my frustration by familiarizing the rest of you with the following idea I first tried out on poor [livejournal.com profile] andrastewhite.

THE REAL CUT PART FROM THE LAST SCENE BETWEEN AERYN AND CRAIS IN "INTO THE LION`S DEN: WOLF IN SHEEP`S CLOTHING"

Aeryn: The power to love is strong in my family. I have it… my mother had it… and my… brother… has it too.

Crais: Looks at her.

Aeryn: Yes, Bialar. It is you. You are my brother. Puts her hand on his cheek.

At which point we get a flashback to the true tale of Talyn (the Elder) and Xhalax. Because, remember, our only source for what actually happened between them is Xhalax who changes her story repeatedly. No, in truth she didn't have one kid by him, but three. The two boys, Bialar and Tauvo, got spirited away and were given to a lowly farmer named Owen Lars Crais who was Xhalax' stepbrother, of sorts. That was why they were later recruited by the PKs. Aeryn remained among the PKs from the beginning because Talyn, being a sentimentalist, had insisted she'd keep her mother's last name. And then a heart-rendering duel happened which left Xhalax scarred in every way. She did consider changing her name and donning complete body armour afterwards, but the PKs wouldn't let her. End flashback.

In other news, I finally finished the Rygelthon story, and continue to work on some heavy RL stuff. In between waiting… and waiting… and…

I thought you might.*g* Meanwhile, on a somewhat more serious note, here (http://boards.theforce.net/The_Star_Wars_Saga/b10456/16974690/?63) is a thread I think you'll find interesting, and a refreshing change from the usual.

Oh, oh, that's lovely. I remember early on thinking that it might turn out that Aeryn was related to Crais, when they were talking about her mother and father and data chips, and Crais' 'concern' for her.

Hey, as someone mentioned, with the interest in Aragorn/Frodo out there, we were able to nicely place John as Frodo instead of Arwen. Although I did like him in that dress.

Though I must say Scorpius is smarter than Saruman ever was.*g*

Aeryn and Crais: hey, they share colouring, and go through somewhat similar developments. Also, Andraste informs me there is such a thing as attraction between unknown siblings (again, see Luke/Leia), and I really like the idea of Xhalax as Anakin/Vader.*g*

Ah, but what's the use if I end up with the divine punishment for said crime nonetheless?*g*
