Quick Update

In haste, because much RL is happening and will continue to:

1) the Quark 'n Dax story (Quax?) is up, beta'd, finite, titled "Two of Us". (Yes, I have a thing for Beatles songs.) (Yes, that was also the title of a rather good tv movie about John Lennon's and Paul McCartney's last meeting in New York, which has nothing whatsoever to do with my story, but I couldn't resist mentioning it.)

2) penknife is busy writing 1602 fic! This makes me very, very, happy, on three or four levels: as a history geek, as a Neil Gaiman fan, and as someone who loves penknife's and artaxastra's take on the X-Men characters. I'm rather hoping she'll branch out and do the other Marvelverse Elizabethans Neil Gaiman came up with, too...

3) I still haven't seen the last thirty minutes of part II of The Peacekeeper Wars, but have managed to remain strong and unspoiled. Working really helps with that.

You can't imagine how much I wanted to name Javier's little pet dinosaur Locke. But the dates don't work, at least not for him to be named for John Locke.

Adorable icon! Hm, let me think. How about Thomas or More? I can so see Javier having read Utopia. Or Erasmus, for Erasmus of Rotterdam. That dinasaur looks like an Erasmus.
