Mar. 10th, 2016 04:49 pmA few glimpses at Hamburg, where I was yesterday. Usually when I'm in Hamburg it's cloudy and/or the wind is determined to destroy my umbrella, but yesterday, behold:

(The harbor, obviously, with two of the domes they built in order to stage musicals in the background.)
My day started with a long walk on the side of the Elbe, covering St. Pauli and Altona. On such a day, wouldn't you?

Hamburg: reliably where they still have political graffiti. The first one says "no human being is illegal", the second compares Hamburg to Lampedusa.

Also to be found there: a WWII era U-Boot, which is a museum these days:

Many of them in the old storage houses area.
