selenakBack from internet-less Bad Wiessee. Where the Aged Parents, myself, and one of my aunts (my father's sister) & uncle had a lovely New Year in the midst of the Alps and the snow, with the big lake at midnight surrounded by fireworks making the entire experience ridiculously pretty.
Now, I'm busy catching up with my list. And tracking down a certain someone so we can finally get a New Year related roleplay on the way...

My husband proposed to me on the rocky and largely-unspoiled Maine shore, at sunset, looking out at the glassy-still waters of the Passamaquoddy bay and the Canadian islands across the way. On my family's land, with the whole where-I-played-as-a-wee-child nostalgia.
Thankfully there were mosquitoes to keep everything real.
