So not what I should be doing, but the muse wants what it wants. In this case, a "Five things" story about Peter Parker and Tony Stark. Beware of Infinity War spoilers.

Date: 2018-06-23 03:26 pm (UTC)Love that he feels like going into Modor in the first part - it's suitably geeky and a great way for him to get a handle on the situation.
Really like Peter's and your take on Happy, the backstory you give him, and that Peter realizes how subjective Happy's perspective is.
„Mr. Stark, could Karen become Skynet?“ and press „send“.
Mr. Stark typed back: „Okay, Sarah Connor, that means lunch“
:-D
Love the evil pigeons in the fourth one and their whole conversation about Liz - the false start, Tony's „Ah. Now I can see why I’m your expert of choice today.“, and that he goes for the practicalities of the situation first.
And I enjoyed the little Mantis cameo at the end there!

Date: 2018-06-23 03:57 pm (UTC)I have a soft spot for Happy since Iron Man 3 - where, btw, he does say "I liked it better without the super friends" to Tony -; his backstory is inspired from the rl story of Horst Fascher, who did do the young boxer, accidental death in fight, prison, bouncer in shady nightclub, encounter with young future famous person thing, only in his case this wasn't one young man but four, the Beatles. Since Happy Hogan in the comics is an ex-boxer and MCU happy appears to have a boxing background as well (in Iron Man 2, we see him in the ring with Tony and then totally outclassed by Natasha), it seemed possible.
