selenakAside from being rl busy, I also am currently foiled in my desire to watch the latest Watchmen episode and will only manage to do so in one and a half weeks, sigh. Otoh, I did finish the first draft of my Yuletide treat, which means both assignment and treat are mostly done, and that means I can deal with Darth Real Life.
Meanwhile, back when heads of government were multilingual: two articles about the recently identified translation Elizabeth I. made from Tacitus. I knew she'd done some translations as a girl and young woman, but not that she kept up the habit into her old age, and this is definitely late Elizabeth:
