Because things on this show are complicated this way, the wedding Kim proposed at the end of the last episode is on the one hand a legal prevention measure, so she won't have to testify against Jimmy, but on the other they can't keep the emotion out of the manoeuvre as soon as they look at each other. And that's what's going to make this so godawful once it explodes. I groaned when it seemed Jimmy wouldn't keep his promise to tell Kim about the goings-on for even one day, but no, he came through on that occasion and was honest with her. This show being this show, though, it's clear even without the Breaking Bad knowledge that the part of Jimmy who does want to be a friend of the Cartel is getting stronger, and the part who looks at the family of Fred Whelan and feels awful - while stll there - is getting weaker. Neat if obvious visual of Jimmy's split face, btw.
We also finally get the pay off to whose weird pranks Jimmy played on Howard ever since the job offer. Last season it was Howard who got accused by Kim of trying to put his Chuck guilt on Jimmy; this season, it turns out Jimmy has been projecting his Chuck guilt on Howard. The megalamoniac rant: I think, like the wedding, something that might have started as a trick bu turned real while doing it.
I suspect the reason why Gus wanted Lalo Salamanca out of prison is that he wants him dead (though to be killed in a way that doesn't implicate him). Given Lalo has been targeting Gus directly, that's going to be difficult, though I assume that's where poor Nacho comes in. He'll be framed as the ambitious right hand man who wants to go to the top, and since no one ever saw him together with Gus, there's no connection.
Moving to another fandom: I saw by chance that German Amazon Prime at least has put up Farscape, all four seasons of it. It's been sooooo long since I watched it. Would anyone be up for a rewatch? (Of the highlights of each season. No Jeremiah Crichton for yours truly!)

Huh, I seem to have deleted all my old Farscape icons.
