... to say that this is the busy week from hell, involving lots of (professional, not spare time) travelling and very irregular and little online access. Next week won't be much better, though due to spare time travelling (skiing). If the cold I'm developing doesn't do me in.

Anyone not getting feedback for great new stories, or having to wait for [livejournal.com profile] theatrical_muse roleplaying: it's that cursed RL!

don't get a cold! take lots of vitamins & fluids, so you can have fun on the slopes. and LJ-land you have always with you. I'll store up BSG reactions and TM-style intrigues for when RL is less busy!

Today's hotel has wi-fi. (Will move out tomorrow, though, as it's a new hotel each day.) Yay! But my cold has gotten worse, and so did the headaches. Heading towards the nearest apothocary now...

No, it's Westfalia I'm currently travelling, alas. I might call you anyway, as I have a question. Also, a gruelling headache and fever....

Well, back here in Paris now, but you can of course still ask.

(Oh, and, should you ever stay at the F. Hof in the future - don't let them rip you off with their 9.5 euros for two non-sectionable wi-fi hours - if you have a room giving out onto Kaiserplatz, you can piggyback on a non-encrypted WLAN called just that - WLAN - for free. Every time I leaned on the windowsill to grab my email on the iPAQ I had this wonderful feeling of getting a little back for the overpriced everything else.)

You were probably on your way back when I called, as your phone told me that you weren't available.*g* And thanks for the tip.

I wanted to ask you whether you already have a room for Bayreuth, for if you haven't, you can stay with us in Bamberg.

Oh, how very kind! I would love that! Needless to say, if you feel like coming back to Paris, the spare bedroom here is yours. (Are your books translated into French?)

Two of them. Le Montreur des Marionettes and Les Ombres de La Rochelle, I believe. Presse de la Cité.

5 : showing good judgment or sense
synonym see HEALTHY, VALID
- sound·ly /'saun(d)-lE/ adverb

Now I'm having Ellis Kaut and Lindenblütentee flashbacks (it's what cures Tony in the Kater Musch stories)...
