That's 24 letters out of 275 stories. For easiness, I started with the most recent ones, but even so, clearly history is a dominating theme. Also, I would have bet Z to be the most difficult letter to find, but no, The Americans came through for me.

At a quick look out of 145 stories on AO3 or 200+ on FFN and Twisting the Hellmouth (on both of which I have a lot of drabbles that got merged into collection on AO3) I have all the letters covered except X and Z. X probably because I dislike most of the Xander tropes and rarely write him as a main character and am not an X-men fan, not sure why there are no Zs. I obviously need to write a couple more stories...

Did you go by sort order or date of earliest publication for each letter?

later - Forgot to say I have one numerical title, two titles that begin with three dots and one that begins with '...

I started with the latest stories and went backwards when looking for stories that started without an "the" or "a" but a real word.

Did this but went the other way, oldest stories first, now have all letters except X since I missed a Drabble called The Zippo on my quick look.

X is such a problem letter. I don't know why we even have it in the alphabet! "J" is easy to make fic titles with, though. Just do what I do and start them with "Just." :)

By the way, I don't think I've mentioned it, but I have been watching The Americans! I only have the last season to go, in fact, but I got sidetracked by a bunch of streaming stuff that all got released at once, so I'm on a little bit of a hiatus from it. It's not something that I've gotten all fannish about, but I certainly have been enjoying it, and I'm pretty sure it was seeing you talk about it that got me interested. So thank you!

The Americans: I'm glad you're enjoying it! It is also one of the few shows that sticks the landing. Not every single episode is good, of course, but the overall story and characterisations are sound, and the finale is just superb.

That is awesome to hear! Especially as it does seem like a show that'd be a little too easy to end anticlimactically. I'll be looking forward to finishing it. Hopefully I'll be caught up on other stuff soonish and able to get back to it.
