Using a Londo icon again for the first time since eons, I feel guilty for having neglected him for such a while. But this week's challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] theatrical_muse inspired me to a ficlet:

Celini

Set in early fourth season. Also, [livejournal.com profile] hobsonphile, bless her, in her continues reports on DragonCon, has now posted her description of the panel debating the different presentations of genocide on Babylon 5 (i.e. Earth/Minbari war versus Narn/Centauri war, or if you like Delenn versus Londo in terms of fall and redemption of a war criminal), here.

One interesting thing I've been noticing with your stories - the dialogue format has maybe changed. Have you always kept direct dialogue separate from the speaker-tag (not the grammatical term; I mean like

"I feel queasy from all that human bacon,"

as opposed to

"I should stop eating at McBari's," Vir said.

Is this an artistic decision? It's really interesting... it gives a sense of loneliness to the words.

To be honest, it's a side effect of all the roleplaying I did at [livejournal.com profile] theatrical_muse. The dialogue is more easily discernible from the description in the replies this way, and I adopted it for story format as well.

Incidentally, I love your example sentences.*g*

Celini :-)

Chilling, beautiful and poignant. Reading this story made by blood freeze.
