Tonight...

Friends, Americans, People Across The Sea, lend me your ear: tonight you shall watch Battlestar Galactica. Trust me. Do this. It's a classy, well-written, well-performend show with moral dilemmas, cool characters, and NO ROBOTDOGS. You've heard me babble about its virtues before, you will hear me again, and conversation is ever so much better than monologue. Also, I would just love to read deborah_judge and kakodaimon on Cylon monotheism versus human polytheism, or penknife and artaxastra tackle this version of Adama and Moore's best original contribution, the fabulous President, Laura Roslin (actually, I'd like to read Deborah tackling her, too, with her thing for mature female politicians). karabair could do such great stuff with Apollo and Starbuck. And sabine101, if we ever get her back permanently, unhounded by RL woes, could do wonders with Baltar and Six. Watch, I beg you. Support from the beginning.

This is Andraste's reaction to the miniseries preceding the show, and here is Melymbrosia's somewhat more critical, but still positive review of same. (As the three of us are love the same aspect best, I'm looking forward to further reviews from them.)
