Galactica renewed!

There is no better soothing for waking up with a headache than discovering good news. Sci-Fi has renewed Battlestar Galactica for a second season (and the ratings continue to be spectacularily good). Call me a still groggy but very happy fangirl. And so far, I've managed to stay spoiler free for episodes 9-13, though it's hard. *casts accusing look at hmpf*

And on another note, it's john__crichton kernezelda's birthday, I hear. May it be a happy one! In the grand tradition of hobbits handing out presents to others on their birthday, Kerne apparently has caused several good writers to delight the fandom at large with fics about John and icecream. So far, I like this one best. You know me; while other people go for John/Aeryn, John/Chiana and John/Scorpius, I'm John/Rygel all the way...
