I could see Vimes as Clint E., or vice versa, but then when I saw him on stage - Vimes, that is - in a dramatized version of Guards! Guards!, he was played by Paul Darrow, who did a splendid job of it and definitely performed Vimes' "make my day" scene with Errol in the Eastwoodian vein. *veg*

In any case, if I am Vetinari and your are Vimes, you were clearly meant to be be promoted dragged into all those other fandoms...

Hey, it's better than if we tested for B5 and you were Garibaldi and I Bester! Also and OT, I read Captain America #30 and #31, and am feeling high admiration for Brubaker coming up with yet another angsty twist by letting Steve ask Tony via that "in the event of my death" letter to look after Bucky and not let him slide into violence etc. again, while simultanously setting Bucky on a revenge path. Now that's inspired.

The plot has been a little drawn out, but the arcs are set up to converge pretty nicely.
