Viva Mallorca

So, I'm yet a bit uncertain on the art of mastering a Peugeot (never drove one before), but who cares, so far, we've been walking most of the time anyway, and my mother didn't look that nervous. Behold some first impressions of Mallorca during the time of the almond bloom:

It's rising, actually. Today it was 18° Celsius. But yesterday it was more windy, hence the wrapped-up-ness...

Bad weather, still? Is it at last cold enough to ski? (My father wanted to do some of that while Mum & self are in Mallorca...)

It's not that cold for February, just grey on too many days, but I think you can go skiing in the Bavarian Alps. An acquaintance of mine recently went to a place near Schliersee, so I guess it should be all right.

I should work on that before you try some of the more spectacular coastal routes. Bendy is the word I would use to describe them, though probably at this time of year without tourist coaches coming in the opposite direction round every turn.

Lovely photos. I've been to Mallorca in March but the almond blossom must have been over by then. The views of Palma Cathedral never cease to be stunning and I love the way the Arab Baths are a peaceful oasis in the city.
