New (to me, anyway, but then I'm trying to keep away from spoilers - promos, however, are another affair) promo for Heroes, volume 3:
You know, currently the most appealing aspect of this breakout-of-Arkham plot indicated is that it looks like Noah Bennet will continue to work for the Company. Which pleases me, because I want HRG to deal with the consequences of all the choices he made throughout volume 2, and rejoining the Company was just the culmination of those. What's more, one of the plot threads I enjoyed most in volume 2 was the uneasy cooperation between Bob and Mohinder as well as Bob, Matt and Nathan in one episode; the shades of grey this had. Bring on the Bob and HRG interaction with all the distrust in the world but forced to work together.
In multifandom news, best answer ever to the 'ship meme.

*follows link, Oh, ha, that is hilarious.

Though West is gone (yay!), I hope for more scenes between Claire and Elle because of all the parallels, and we really need a reunion between her and the Petrellis.

Date: 2008-07-04 04:47 pm (UTC)I really want Claire with Angela and Noah with Nathan. I mean, amongst various other combinations. Even though I told myself I would have no expectations this season. Oh, I think I'm beginning to get excited about Heroes again! *tries to resist urge to read spec*

Date: 2008-07-04 09:10 am (UTC)Very happy to see Matt again. I want more Nathan and Matt interaction, more Nathan and Hiro interaction, more Nathan, Peter and Angela interaction, actually more Nathan and everybody (except Sylar) interaction *g*.

Date: 2008-07-05 12:41 pm (UTC)Out of curiosity, what makes you think that Noah will work for the Company because of the break out? I mean, he's currently in custody right now. A break out for everyone else may very well be a break out for him as well, and he certainly has no qualms about being on the run.

Date: 2008-07-05 05:41 pm (UTC)And you know, a dozen Sylar-like types break-out, I think Noah would have additional incentive to genuinenly work for the Company in order to track them down. (I also think he would not bother to bring them back but would try to kill them afterwards, company policy be damned, but that's another question.)

Date: 2008-07-06 01:57 am (UTC)Well, I don't know about that. It's certainly not like they are just going to send him home or set him up in an apartment when he's not running missions for them. Keeping him in a cell and then bringing him out when they feel he's useful, and maybe claiming he's working off his debt to them, seems entirely plausible.
And you know, a dozen Sylar-like types break-out, I think Noah would have additional incentive to genuinely work for the Company in order to track them down.
True, bu I'm just thinking in terms of where he might actually be when it occurs. If he's inside the building, and his door opens... why not just walk out himself? And then track them on his own, or strike a deal once he's out so that he's on more equal footing with Bob, rather than under his thumb.
