Someone put some of the season 4 of Lost deleted scenes online, for which much thanks. My two favourite deleted scenes:

Claire and Hurley, or: yet another clue as to what happened to Claire. My current theory is that she died in the explosion - hence "I see dead people" Miles looking at her in the subsequent episode - but this being the island took a while to realise she is dead. On the other hand, she might still be alive but partially taken over by Jacob and/or the island. This scene, in which Claire is able to see Christian - and remember, directly when she woke up after Sawyer found her, she asked "Charlie?" and directly asks Hurley whether they are dead, seems to support the former.

Aaand a Ben and Locke scene. I can see why they cut it - it doesn't add anything new - but as all their scenes together, it has that special zing, I enjoy my Emerson & O'Quinn interplay, especially in the knowledge I probably won't get any in season 5 for plot reasons.

On to fanfiction:

Sarah Connor Chronicles:

Time and Time Again: Alison, Cameron and John, in many variations. Ah, time travel and time paradoxes, how much enjoyable angst you create.

Farscape:

We Programmed People: [livejournal.com profile] alara_r weaves her magic and comes up with a unique take on... well, that is the question. It is, and isn't John Crichton.

Oh, thanks for posting these! I hadn't seen them, and that Locke & Ben scene is so delightfully them. :)

Isn't it just? I still want that spin-off where they raise a baby together. Even if it's prone to become either a complete psychopath or Sydney Bristow.*g*

I would feel so incredibly sorry for that kid! But I would watch. :)

Ah, I wondered whether you'd seen those scenes! I used to be firmly against the "Claire is dead" theory, but I'll have to rewatch to see if it's possible. I did have a brief moment of panic in S2 wondering whether the entire show was in Hurley's head. xD

You just want your family reunion, don't you? :) But that's possible with a dead Claire walking as well. Especially since she seems to be able to have her own agenda, not the island's. (Assuming it was Claire who talked to Kate in her dream and told her not to bring Aaron to the island.) Complete with dead and walking Christian. Don't you want Jack's reaction to meeting his undead family? *veg*

You know me far too well. :-) Actually, now that you put it that way, the only way this family reunion (which I am indeed looking forward to) could get *more* dysfunctional is if both Claire and Christian were dead during it. Hee! It's certainly possible, given that Jack has seen Christian a few times already. Add the fact that he couldn't save Claire and never got to be a brother to her, on top of his "saving people" issues, and you've got a recipe for Shephard family dynamics that will make me very happy...

Lost is certainly crazy enough to pull off a family reunion where Jack is the only fully alive member. Well. Except for Aaron, if Kate doesn't listen to Claire.

Sidenote: of course, this ought to be mirrored by an undead family reunion wherein Ben gets reunited with dear old dad and Alex...

Throw Emily into the mix, and we've got ourselves a party!
